Las Vegas Officer Is Department's Third Killed in 2009

Las Vegas Metro police are mourning the death of Trevor Nettleton, the 30-year-old who was shot and killed while off duty during an attempted robbery attempt at his home, the Review Journal reports.
Several armed men entered Nettleton's house through the garage, at which time the officer exchaged fire with them. His wife and two young children were in the house at the time.
Two North Las Vegas men and a juvenille have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
