An independent report has cleared the Boston police officers who arrested a 22-year-old man during the revelry after the Boston Celtics' NBA championship, the Boston Globe reports.
Police made "missteps" while arresting the man, who died while in custody, but did not cause his death, according to the report.
The report also recommendationed enhanced officer training for confrontations with large crowds, revising a policy on releasing statements to the media, and streamlining the investigative process to ease the burden on families.
