Man Tells Police God Told Him to Steal Car

The Lexington (Ky.) Police Department said a man who attempted to steal a Dodge Charger from a dealership told officers he was commanded by God to commit the crime, WLEX-TV reports.
The man smashed a window and was collared by a security guard before he could enter the showroom. When police arrived, the suspect initially told them his name was "Seven."

He's not at all stupid. He can plead insanity and get sent to a nice cushiony mental hospital where he'll get three hots and a cot. He'll have to do the "I'm hearing voices" thing too. Much better than being sent to prison.
