Kansas Deputy Dies After Exchanging Gunfire With Suspect

Sedgwick County sheriff's deputy Brian S. Etheridge has died as a result of injuries he sustained from a gunshot wound while pursuing a suspect Monday near Wichita, Kan., KansasCity.com reports.

Etheridge, 26, leaves a wife and child. The 27-year-old suspect that exchanged gunfire with Etheridge also died.
