Former Wyoming Troopers Face Steroid Charges

Natrona County prosecutors filed steroid possession charges Wednesday against three former Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers.
Authorities say Devan Henderson and Franklin Ryle Jr. smuggled steroids from Mexico to Wyoming in a vanilla bottle, while Adam Longo allegedly purchased them at a Casper gym. Agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation learned about the allegations earlier this year while investigating Ryle for kidnapping a Wal-Mart truck driver.
Ryle, who is in jail while awaiting sentencing in the federal kidnapping case, is accused of possessing the anabolic steroid Cypiogen. The 42-year-old Douglas resident is also charged with conspiracy.
