Police Officer Saves Paramedic Wife's Life

Susan Odom is a paramedic with Atmore Ambulance. Arthur Odom is an officer with the Atmore (Ala.) Police Department. They've been married for 4 1/2 years. When Susan dialed 911 after choking, her husband answered the call and came to her rescue.
"Arthur saved my life," she said. "My husband is truly my hero. I'm thankful for him every day."
