July 27, 2009  |

Hundreds of well-wishers lined the streets of Jersey City, N.J., as the casket of slain Det. Marc DiNardo arrived at St. Aedan's Church on Friday escorted by police motorcycles, an honor guard, and a bagpipe band, reports Philly.com.

DiNardo was shot in the face with a shotgun blast as he and other officers tried to storm an apartment on July 16. Four other officers were wounded.
