Lee Woods Sentenced to Life in Prison for Timoshenko Killing

A remorseless cop killer was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison plus 40 years for the execution of Officer Russel Timoshenko during a car stop in Brooklyn.

Lee Woods was the last of three thugs convicted of ambushing the rookie cop and partner Herman Yan after the cops stopped their stolen SUV on July 9, 2007.
