Detroit Police Fatally Shoot Gunman

Responding officers shot the 52-year-old after he pointed a gun at them, investigators said. Officers noticed the man had a gun as they were talking to the person who called for help at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday, spokesman James Tate said.
