Federal Grand Jury Indicts S.C. Trooper

A white South Carolina state trooper who was seen on a dashboard video hitting with his patrol vehicle a black suspect fleeing on foot in Greenwood County last year has been indicted on a federal charge of violating the suspect’s civil rights.
