Man Facing Prison Term for Stabbing San Diego Police Dog

A man accused of threatening two people with a knife at a San Diego motel and stabbing a police dog pleaded guilty Monday to assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.

I think what this article emphasizes the most is the press's apathy towards anything that affects Police. If, for some reason, an LEO had been forced to stab a civilian's dog, you can bet this article would be twice as long and full of viewpoints by everyone from Al Sharpton to the ACLU about how the dog's civil liberties were violated by not allowing him to eat the officer.
