COPS Publication Aims to Reduce Identity Theft

Law enforcement agencies can find tips on preventing identity theft in a new practical guidebook from the Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).
The publication provides readers with information to help assess the prevalence of identity theft locally, develop appropriate responses, and measure the effectiveness of those responses.
