ASIS International, an organization for security professionals, has introduced two technical certifications to recognize expertise in the technology of investigation and security. The Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) program is directed at investigators. It covers the tasks, knowledge, and skills necessary for case management, evidence collection, and case presentation. The Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is designed for highly trained professionals who have solid, hands-on experience with both current and emerging security technologies and solutions.
