Oakley's SI Tactical FR Glove was made for the military, so it had to meet special requirements. This fire-resistant glove features rugged pittards fire-resistant leather palm and topside reinforcements, anatomical protective knuckle plating covered with fire-resistant leather, and two layers of Nomex to protect the back of the hand and fingers. A single Velcro closure provides secure and easy closure. The SI Tactical FR Glove also complies with the following testing standards for flame resistance: ASTM D6413 and NFPA 1971 Section 7.7.3.

The Wiley X DURTAC glove features injection molded thermoplastic knuckle and individual finger protectors for superior impact and abrasion resistance. The design also includes a durable synthetic leather palm, an ergonomically shaped palm patch, and a reinforced thumb. Heavy-duty Lycra gussets wick away moisture and ventilated fingers and an Air Mesh on the back of the hand increase airflow. A silicone print on the thumb and index fingers provide increased grip while a neoprene cuff and a molded, easy-grip TPR closure keep out dust and debris.
