Tempbadge’s new line of self-expiring visitor ID badges is for law enforcement agencies that want to ensure their guests have only temporary access. The badges change color from white to red when they expire. Each badge consists of two parts: a self-adhesive front printed on any thermal printer and a back pre-printed with “migrating ink.” Combining the two parts starts a timing process that causes the badge to expire after one day, one week, or one month.
