Nebraska Deputy Arrests Mexican Drug Cartel Officer at Traffic Stop

A Mexican drug cartel officer was arrested in Nebraska Thursday. Jesus Ramon Buena-Peregina was wanted as a federal fugitive in the U.S. for four years. He was previously convicted of possession and distribution of 20 kilos of cocaine.

Two FBI agents serving an arrest warrant suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds Tuesday morning at a Park Forest, IL, home, and a suspect in the residence was found dead, according to the FBI.
