Video: Bikers Put Out 'Green Light' Against Officers Following Waco Shooting

VIDEO: Footage Shows Aftermath of Waco Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Shootout

One day after a wild biker brawl and clash with police that left nine men dead, 18 wounded and about 170 under arrest for engaging in organized crime, this Central Texas town was still on guard, reports the Houston Chronicle.

State troopers and police carrying military-style rifles were guarding a sprawling outdoor mall that includes Twin Peaks, a risque chain tavern where chaos broke out Sunday afternoon when five gangs suddenly squared off.

A fight that broke out in the men's room and then quickly spilled into the bar area and parking lot turned deadly with rival bikers attacking each other and then squaring off against Waco Police who rushed inside the restaurant on the southern edge of the city.

As police rounded up the bikers and night soon fell, intelligence reports indicated that more bikers were on the way here and that officers had been "green lighted" - essentially a gang sanctioned call for killing - as retaliation.

"We are on high alert," Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton said. "We encourage those individuals not to bring criminal activity to Waco. But let it be known, if they do, we are ready."

I applaud your stance Sgt. Swanton and pray all will be safe.

Isolate them all in a box canyon, and let them destroy each other in a battle royal.
No police, just animals at their finest, destroying each other!!!

How about "green lighting" biker gang members?

AZBIGDOG @ 5/20/2015 6:53 AM

If the intelligence is good and can be proven to be true, felony stops on all bikers wearing colors. Or better yet set up roadblocks and issue tickets for any violations.

WMPD210 @ 5/20/2015 10:26 AM

Better watch out. Obama's gonna get you for carrying "military-style rifles". Please don't "intimidate and alienate" the local biker gangs.

HRPufnstuf @ 5/20/2015 1:16 PM

Heck, they've got almost 200 of them already caged. Just turn them loose on each other, since that's what they want. Seal them off, come back in a week.

OTJBlue @ 5/20/2015 7:52 PM

Green light the police? Please. We've been green lit since Sir Robert Peel's bobbies patrolled the streets.

wl @ 5/23/2015 10:28 AM

Police put a green light on them, shoot first, ask questions later.....

BIKERJOE @ 5/29/2015 1:15 AM

AZBIGDOG, are you brain dead or should you do better research on bikers, just because you wear colors does not mean your an outlaw motorcycle club. So what your saying is just a violation of your rights, stopping someone for wearing their colors. Its no wonder the public complains about cops, your a prime example of a bad cop.

^^^Exactly.
Sounds like another Obama DOJ investigation into police. Ugh.
