Seven Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in an elite gang-enforcement unit have been notified the department intends to fire them for celebrating shootings and getting matching tattoos.

Seven Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in an elite gang-enforcement unit have been notified the department intends to fire them for celebrating shootings and getting matching tattoos.

The deputies are members of a clique called the Jump Out Boys who operate in the OSS (Operation Safe Streets) gang-enforcement unit.

The department began an internal investigation after the Los Angeles Times reported the existence of the group. The investigation didn't uncover any criminal behavior, but the group clashed with agency policies, reports the Los Angeles Times.
