A Los Angeles gang member who killed two gang rivals and murdered two others was returned to the United States to face charges after his capture Friday in Guadalajara.

Joe Luis Saenz, who was added to the FBI's Top Ten Fugitives list in October 2009, was captured in a joint operation with Mexican authorities. He worked as a hit man and enforcer for a drug cartel, reports the Associated Press.

On July 25, 1998, Saenz allegedly shot and killed two rival gang members in Los Angeles. Less than two weeks later, Saenz allegedly kidnapped, raped, and murdered Sigrieta Hernandez, his girlfriend and mother of his daughter. Saenz believed Hernandez was planning to tell the police about the murders.

Saenz allegedly murdered Oscar Torres in October of 2008 in his Whittier home because Torres failed to repay $600,000 in drug money after police seized the cash during a traffic stop. The attack was captured on surveillance video cameras in Torres' home.

crap now we have to waste time and money to try him! should have just let the mexsos shoot him!

S.S @ 11/27/2012 8:13 AM

Well atleast he's off the streets. Although I wish street justice would've caught up to him and end it all. This person deserves the death penalty and hopefully he gets it. But we can all look forward to him wasting thousands and thousands of taxpayers money. Great.

UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE DOZENS WAITING TO TAKE HIS PLACE.
THE FEDS NEED TO CLASSIFY STREET GANGS AS TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS AND TREAT THEM AS SUCH.

ncp @ 11/27/2012 7:19 PM

@ S.S. U say this person deserves the death penalty but theyre child molesters & Rapist that repeatly offend & only get a few years in jail or at times a slap on the hand. Im enraged on how the goverment spends its $$ & like the other people say, our tax$ In chasing him but they dont chase the Child Molesters or the Rapists. When they too are the Criminals that sometimes run & hide in Mexico.

S.S @ 11/28/2012 7:15 AM

@ncp You are completely right. The child killers and child molesters are the absolute worst of the worst. How I truly wish that the death penalty would be made available to these scumbags, even if they didn't kill their prey. Let's face it though prison is too good for these animals, just put em down that's the only way our kids would be a little more safer. Our tax money goes to help get their urges under control or to rehabilitate these animals. There is NO rehab for these assholes, so what good are they, what do they have to offer our society. NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !!!!!!!
