7 Mara Salvatrucha Members Face Array of Charges In SF Gang Trial

The trial of seven Mara Salvatrucha members got underway this week with a federal prosecutor saying the group "lives, breathes, and celebrates violence," the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The seven men are accused of terrorizing neighborhoods with assaults, shakedowns, and four 2008 murders.
