Mexico Arrests Regional La Familia Cartel Leader

Mexican authorities have arrested a regional leader of the La Familia drug trafficking organization, which dominates the western state of Michoacan, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Federal police arrested 37-year-old Jose Alfredo Landa Torres, known as "Skinny," who was recently named to head the organization's Morelia operations.
