Police Still Excavating, Investigating "Largest Crime Scene in Albuquerque History"

One month ago today, a woman walking her dog on the far Southwest Mesa in Albuquerque made a discovery that has led to a massive, multi-agency investigation into the deaths of 13.
On Feb. 2, the woman found what turned out to be a human hip bone, according to police. Detectives began combing the area near 118th and Dennis Chavez SW and within a few days had found the remains of three people. In fairly short order, three had turned into six, then 10, then 11.
