The DetectEar is a discreet listening device designed to provide pinpoint listening accuracy at 300 yards. This surveillance tool operates on 2 AAA batteries and uses a 20-inch diameter snap-together parabolic dish.

The device includes a 3-band equalizer to adjust for specific sound frequencies, a recording jack, and a communications input jack.
