Inexpensive Dash Camera

June 01, 2001

Using an easy-to-install suction cup system, the DCS-1 from Martel Electronics secures to the patrol vehicle's window, securely and simply. Plugging into the cigarette lighter socket puts the systems into operation and it's fully dual airbag compatible. Changing from car to car means simply unplugging and moving the unit in minutes. No installation is required and it comes fully assembled and complete.

The portable belt microphone is broadcast quality FM and the camera is 8mm format. Simple, single-button activation, on-screen time and date adn other features make the DCS-1 easy to use. A rechargeable battery is included for "out of car" scene documentation or evidence photography. The DCS-1 is surprisingly affordable, yet offers features found on units costing much more.
