Envisage Technologies Named to Top Vendor List in Law Enforcement Software Market

December 06, 2017  |

Envisage Technologies, creators of the Acadis Readiness Suite and FirstForward—software solutions built to manage the complex training operations for law enforcement training environments—have been named one of the "Most Prominent Vendors" in Technavio's Global Law Enforcement Software Market category. This marks the second consecutive year in which Envisage has been named to this list.

Designed to streamline training processes, increase visibility and access to training and testing, simplify reporting, and effectively track compliance, Acadis is used by agencies within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, 20 state training commissions, and eight (8) local/regional law enforcement agencies covering over one million personnel also use Acadis to track their training operations.

FirstForward provides a catalog of hundreds of training courses, both online and classroom-based, and provides a framework supporting lifelong learning for first responders. In support of the Envisage value statement, "Readiness Saves Lives," both Acadis and FirstForward were built to ensure our nation's first responder communities are properly trained and have real-time insight and access to the human and physical resources integral to their success.

Technavio is a market research company based in London. Employing more than 300 analysts, they publish approximately 5,000 papers annually and provide services and consulting to more than 100 companies in the Fortune 500. The 2017 report, and the 2016 report in which Envisage was also included, is available at Technavio's website.
