Texas Sergeant Dies in Training Exercise

Potter County (Texas) Sheriff's Office Sgt. Paul Buckles died Friday during a training exercise in Canyon, according to a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, reports Amarillo.com. He was 58.
"He was ... a good, hardworking man," Sheriff Brian Thomas said Friday night by phone. "There's a lot of sadness in our department."
Buckles worked for the sheriff's office for 26 years, the Facebook post said.

Paul was a very good Officer, He was highly respected by his friends and Co-workers, and will be greatly missed. Paul and his family will be in our thoughts and Prayers. May the Lord please Bless and keep you. Those that follow you can learn greatly from your example.
