Mass. SWAT Cop Shot In Training Exercise

A Chicopee (Mass.) Police officer was shot and seriously injured during a special weapons and tactics training exercise Monday afternoon just outside Westover Air Reserve Base.

Mayor Michael D. Bissonnette confirmed the accident and said the officer has been admitted to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield for injuries that are not life-threatening.
