Video: Calif. PD Criticized for Action-Packed Recruiting Video

A Newport Beach Police Department recruiting video that was uploaded in 2008 to YouTube has gone viral and was mocked on news aggregator Huffington Post and other websites.

Huffington Post described the video this way: "In the action-packed police recruitment video (above), badass officers pull guns, scale walls and are armed with vicious dogs. Funny enough on its own, the cheeseball '80s-esque video is made golden by the fact that it's supposedly portraying the life of a cop in one of the ritziest beachside cities in Southern California - Newport Beach."
