Chicago Police Recruit Good Samaritan Hospitalized

A Chicago police recruit who received his star a week ago has been hospitalized after he was struck by a vehicle while assisting a motorist alongside an expressway, reports the Sun-Times.
The recruit's condition is not life threatening, and he was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County for head trauma.
