More Than 3,000 Apply For Police Jobs With Ohio Agency

The Dayton (Ohio) PD accepted more than 3,000 applications for its upcoming recruit class to achieve a more diverse force by 2012 to meet the terms of a federal consent decree, reports the Dayton Daily News.
The city will offer the civil service exam on Nov. 20. The city must then submit the demographics of the police applicant pool to the U.S. Department of Justice.
