Maryland MTA Launches Cadet Program

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Police Force is launching an MTA Police Cadet program, offering qualified men and women between the ages of 18 and 20 years old a chance to experience a career in law enforcement, reports Metro Magazine.
"This new program is an excellent way to reach out and involve the youth of our community and attract quality law enforcement officers for the future," MTA Administrator Ralign T. Wells tells Metro. "It is also an opportunity for young people to earn while they learn and position themselves for a full-time career in law enforcement."
