Texas Agencies Recruit Laid-Off Tulsa Officers

Representatives from five Texas law enforcement agencies headed to Tulsa to recruit officers who were among the 127 the Tulsa Police Department has laid off since last fall, the Tulsa World reports.
Current officers have also been attending meetings with recruiters from the Plano, Arlington, Garland and Mesquite police departments and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The meetings have been hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 93.
