Tucson Recruit Fired, Charged In Sex Abuse Case

A Tucson police recruit is facing sex-abuse charges connected to alleged abuse of a 16-year-old teenage girl, the department has announced.
Gabriel Edwards, 23, was in his seventh week at the Tucson Police Department's academy. He has been terminated, according to Tucson police.
