Obama Meets Ohio Police Recruits Hired Due to Stimulus Package

Today Columbus (Ohio) PD recruits, whose jobs have been saved by the massive $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Congress passed last month, will have the opportunity to thank President Barack Obama face to face as they finally join the force.

As normal the media has got it wrong again. The recruits were originally laid off because CPD refused a pay cut while in the process of contract negotiations with Columbus. This while every other division in the City of Columbus took a pay cut. Also you might find it interesting that Obama had all the police officers in attendence disarmed.
