Louisiana House Votes for Castration for Sex Offenders

he House gave lopsided approval Wednesday to a bill that would allow chemical or physical castration as a punishment for some sex crimes.

On a 69-14 vote, House members approved Senate Bill 144 by Sen. Nick Gautreaux, D-Abbeville, sending it back to the Senate for approval of House committee changes.
