Orlando Police Set Up Hotline to Help Solve Gun Crimes

Amid a swell of gun thefts and crimes, police in Orlando, Fla., are providing cash rewards for tips that help find illegal firearms.

Amid a swell of gun thefts and crimes, police in Orlando, Fla., are providing cash rewards for tips that help find illegal firearms.  

Two people have received rewards for their anonymous tips through a joint effort by the City of Orlando and CrimeLine, an organization run by former Orlando Police Department homicide detective Barb Bergin, reported television station WESH.

Officials say the tips they have received have provided help in solving homicides, armed robberies, and drug dealing cases involving guns.
