Firearms Training Associates Offers Course in Advanced Live-Fire Entry for Law Enforcement

Firearms Training Associates (FTA), based in Yorba Linda, Calif., is offering a comprehensive two-day course in advanced live-fire entry, designed to teach individuals to work as a team, utilizing entry techniques and engaging multiple targets with marking cartridges.

The Advanced Live-Fire Entry Course teaches law enforcement how to safely and effectively utilize a pistol or revolver during close quarter conflict, and covers mindset and mental conditioning, barricade shooting, shooting on the move, close quarters battle, responsibilities of using deadly force, low-light house clearing, live fire entry and simunition, force on force, two-person tactics, two-person entry, and gunfight simulation.

The Advanced Live-Fire Entry Course is conducted at FTA’s Corona, Calif., facility, as well as on location elsewhere in Southern California. All instruction and training conducted by FTA is done in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
