What a Motor Officer Sees

Of course, the cameras are usually mounted lower to the ground, rather than to the officer's helmet, but this video gives a fairly good approximation of what a motor officer sees while riding a cone pattern.

L.A. Sheriff Gets $56.7 Million To Replace Helicopter Fleet

The existing patrol fleet will be replaced by at least 12, but likely 14, Eurocopter A350 Astar craft. A trio of Sikorsky craft will continue to be used for search and rescue.
