Improve Your Cybercrime Expertise

July 15, 2009  |  by Paul Clinton - Also by this author

Learn more about how to stop people who hang out in chat rooms waiting for unsuspecting victims or send fraudulent e-mails about money scams this summer at the National Forensics Training Center.

The center, which is operated with grants from the National Institute of Justice and Office of Justice Programs, is overseen by Mississippi State University and exists to train law enforcement personnel.

The training is available to law enforcement officers at no charge. Classes take place at the MSU campus in Starkville and at the Cyber Crime Fusion Center in Jackson.

To find out more information or to register, read the NIJ's "Tech Beat" newsletter.
