Prepare for the Battles to Come

American law enforcement officers must steel themselves for the Paris-style attacks that will surely happen here.

November 27, 2015  |  by Randy Sutton

Muslim terrorists have opened up a new front on their global war on civilization. With the coordinated attacks in France, Islamist extremists have exposed the weakness inherent in all of Western culture, our most precious and yet most vulnerable asset, freedom.

The attacks of 9/11 were an American nightmare, a dream never meant to be brought into the consciousness of day. Our collective world shattered and was altered into a terrible new reality. We were no longer safe from the threat of global terrorism. It was a moment reminiscent of another attack that changed America forever, Pearl Harbor, a day that in the words of President Franklin Roosevelt “which will live in infamy.” It was a day that not only took the lives of thousands of Americans but woke a sleeping giant and filled it with a terrible resolve. A resolve to arise from the sweet slumber of innocence and awaken into a world of vengeance and self-protection.

That giant which is America has once again fallen into a slumber. She is in a fitful sleep borne of the exhaustion of wars fought in lands far away. But now she must awaken again for if she does not an entire way of life may be doomed, the very freedoms that set us apart from the savages of ISIS. The irony being that it is our freedoms that are also, in effect, the barriers to our protection and the protection of our freedom.

Freedom is a quality that we in America take for granted because we have enjoyed its embrace for centuries. It is freedom itself that is at the very core of this epic conflict with a vicious enemy borne from the womb of a religion corrupted, a faith corrupted by power hungry lunatics who thirst for the blood of anyone who disagrees with their vision of God. It is the ultimate perversion to use religion as an excuse for torture, murder, and the rape of civilization. Yet this is the reality. And as abhorrent as it may be, it must be faced with an iron resolve, a resolve that will call for violence.

There will be no negotiating with an enemy willing to blow themselves up as long as they can take people they believe to be “infidels” with them. There is no “diplomatic" solution. It is war in the truest sense.

As this war begins to fester within the continental United States there will be individual (lone wolf) and coordinated terrorist attacks in our cities. They may occur anywhere, subways, stadiums, sporting events, concerts, anywhere large groups of people congregate. When these attacks occur, America’s first responders, police, fire, and medical teams will be in the middle of a war. Because our military is constitutionally forbidden to deploy within our borders, our law enforcement officers will be forced to take on the responsibilities of combat.

Unfortunately, the combination of civil unrest over recent officer-involved shootings, apathetic political leadership, a terminal case of political correctness and a general misunderstanding of the realities of law enforcement have already placed law enforcement in a much more threatening environment. Even as the President emasculates our police by word and deed, the enemy prepares to launch its attacks, just as he did in France and Mali. ISIS made good on its promises to attack Europe and will do so again in the United States.

Our nation must prepare. This sleeping giant that has faced so many battles must once again defend our freedom and our way of life. There will be pain. There will be tragedy. There will be loss. If we are to succeed, there must be unity. Unity between the people of this nation and its police. The pettiness of political correctness must be exposed and discarded and social movements, which only serve to divide, must be cast aside and rejected. There is only one enemy now. If he prevails there will never be freedom again.

Obama thinks the biggest enemy we face today is not Islamic terrorism which he will not even name but theoretical global warming. His political correct nonsense and wanting at every turn and excuse to disarm the general law abiding public and demonizing the police will be a major cause of perceived weakness that the terrorists and criminals in general will try to exploit. The police should remember Obama's insistence of suspending or sending back armored vehicles and other quasi military equipment if the police or public are killed in any future event when those items would have made a difference. Obama is more concerned about perception of militarized looking police rather than reality that requires special equipment and training to successfully meet today's threats. The police need to be much more verbal and apply political pressure when reacting to Obama's failures to back them.

Article is not completely true. Military can not deploy with our borders, but National Guard
can and does quite often, under the command of each Governor.

PW @ 11/29/2015 8:36 AM

Well, let's see........Who is it that answers when one dials "911"? Is it the Feds? Nope. Is it the National Guard? Nope. Usually, it's not even the State....Who is it, and who usually responds first? Oh, yea........It's the local LE...

S.S. @ 11/30/2015 7:32 AM

First responders will be called for 1st. We will be the primary targe after they blow up themselves and other heavy populated places. obama, by far is the worst pres. there is and was. Worse than jimmy carter. Tom Ret. did get this right he's more concerned about this global warming shit, than he is about lives of Americans. It will get worse you can bet on it. We will be attacked. Who will be the first ones to respond and get there first. It will be the POLICE! We'll do our job, and try to save as many lives as possible, and at the same time put our own lives in jeopardy. These shit head activists are also gonna rely on P.D. to save their pathetic lives.

Bacchys @ 11/30/2015 8:21 AM

The "unrest" over police misconduct can be laid directly on the door of our law enforcement institutions.

S.S. @ 11/30/2015 11:17 AM

I see we got yet another dumbass troll on the site.

Couldn't read it. Learn what "MOSSAD black ops" means........and what it means for Americans. Read past Yahoo or CNN.

Or go to the FBI site or wherever they give statistics. Jews in the U.S. are by far commit the most terrorist attacks. Search it.....PLEASE.

Jared Lee Loughner......Jewish
Columbine Trench Coat Mafia........Jewish (police waited two hours after the shooting to enter bldg, chief's son was member)
Adam Lanza........Jewish
Elliot Rodgers.......Jewish
Jaylen Fryberg........Jewish
Ted Kaczynski (Unibomber).........Jewish
Jonathon Pollard (stole US nuke weapons tech, gave it to Israel who sold it to China so now Chinese ICBMs have nuclear warheads made using stolen U.S. technology)..........Jewish

Who owns American media ??? Answer: Six Wall Street (tribal) families.......all way down to school books. Search it........PLEASE.

Mikhail @ 12/2/2015 12:23 PM

The biggest enemy we face..........making a living since Wall Street shipped American jobs & industry to China for Wall Street's ("failed" jewish banks and their corporations bought with that special tribal financing from the also tribally owned and criminal Federal Reserve, the very same folks that bring 1920s & 30s Germany style hyperinflation to America today) corporate (tribal) profits.

They also sold worthless derivatives to America's pension funds KNOWING THEY WERE WORTHLESS ALL ALONG.....and bankrupted our American economy with their centuries old real estate bubble-bust con job.

And it's WHAT ??? we face her in America today ???

I'm more worried about being attacked by a wild hog than I am some Jew's blood thirsty half brother, although I am more worried about HIS blood sacrificing half in those "failed" banks and school shootings.

Mikhail is a Loon @ 12/3/2015 7:46 AM

Can we focus on the story and not the content of your next psychiatric session, Mikhail?

paul murphy @ 12/3/2015 7:17 PM

you are very correct on your assessment of the future facing police. it has become apparent that we will face this alone mostly because a substantial portion of our citizenry hate the police and those that don't are more focused on sundays big game. i'm in the fight- not for them but for that guy next to me

Leonard @ 12/17/2015 10:44 AM

@Bacchys - You are 100% correct. Militarization and increased willingness to use overwhelming force against citizens, Civil Asset Forfeiture, lack of accountability among other issues have severely damaged the relationship between communities and their police. Some of the officers on this site should take the time to read the latest PERF reports and understand that its not the public's fault, its theirs.
