Recipient of multiple awards for government service, Dean Scoville brings twenty-five years of law enforcement experience to POLICE magazine. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department veteran is also the author of "Shots Fired", a monthly column examining officer-involved shootings as experienced by the officers themselves. He writes on a variety of topics that directly impact the administrative, investigative, and patrol aspects of law enforcement.

Susan Freel is the most recent addition to the POLICE Magazine Staff as the National Sales Manager covering our East Coast territory, however she's not new to the industry or to law enforcement professionals. She brings to POLICE Magazine eight years of experience in multi-media ad sales within our market. In her new position at Bobit Business Media, Susan Freel represents POLICE Magazine, POLICE Recruit, Policemag.com, Campus Safety and TREXPO East and West shows. She looks forward to working together with manufacturers and distributors in designing effective marketing campaigns to promote their products and services to the industry, utilizing the most-respected magazines, shows and website in law enforcement today.
