Police are not "Allowed" to use deadly force. They are duty bound to use the force necessiary to effect an arrest or stop a criminal act. And since when are citizens forbidden from using deadly force or effecting a private person arrest. This lie detector crap is junk science. Leave it to the great state of left wing Ted Kennedy to try to screw cops out of their civil rights. These days the department can walk all over someone for no reason. I'm glad I'm retired!
