See Video Coverage of First-Ever TREXPO Boxing Match

Last night a local news crew was on hand in Long Beach, Calif., as TREXPO West attendees watched fellow officers battle each other in the boxing ring.

See the video here.

After visiting a record number of new exhibitors on the show floor at the largest TREXPO West to date, attendees stayed to watch members of LAPD, LASD, Anaheim PD, and the FBI duke it out during the POLICE Magazine reception in the exhibit hall.

The event, sponsored by U.S. Armor, was coordinated by Mike Young from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Beer and Bud Girls were provided by Anheuser-Busch. A raffle was held with part of the proceeds going to the memorial fund of slain LAPD SWAT Officer Randal Simmons.

The following fighters participated in last night’s event:

  • Dave "Knockout" Apodoca of LASD vs. Dustin "The Nosebleeder" Ciscel of Anaheim
  • PD (185 lbs.)
  • Armando "The Hitman" Guzman of LASD vs. George "The Argentinean Olympian" Lopez of LAPD (185 lbs.)
  • Adrian "The Pro" Rendon of LASD vs. Carlos "Chupacabra" Narro of FBI (130 lbs.)
