TASER's Simulation Air Cartridges are self-contained devices that have 21 feet of range but fire non-conductive nylon wire leads and shortened barbs. The non-conductive wire prevents electrical energy from dispersing into the student while the shortened probe prevents penetration of the simulation suit.

Arkansas Prosecutor Calls TASER Axon Technology 'Quantum Leap'

Cpl. Brandon Davis of the Fort Smith (Ark.) PD was wearing the TASER Axon on-officer recorder November 11th when he shot and killed 41-year-old Eric Berry. Berry refused to drop a handgun he aimed at officers. The video was a key piece of evidence used to clear Davis in the case. This is a first for law enforcement in Arkansas, if not the nation.
