Ford executives said it will exceed the durability, safety, performance and fuel economy of the Ford Crown Victoria, which enjoys a 70 percent share among LE agencies. The Ford Motor Co. unveiled its new Police Interceptor in Las Vegas today and provided details about the patrol car that will replace the "Crown Vic" in late 2011. Ford also confirmed it has begun production on a second new Police Interceptor that will be a utility vehicle.
