The DoubleStar 1911 is pretty basic - in a good way. Other than the ubiquitous light rail, the design is pretty much what John Browning intended with all of the functions and features exactly where an experienced 1911 shooter would expect them to be.

420 Handguard

DoubleStar's DS-420 Handguard's 12-inch oval design is created using aircraft-grade 60-61 T6 aluminum, providing room to add accessories and the ablility to grip 20-inch barreled AR rifles. The four-sided Picatinny rail is a mil-spec system.
