New police patrol vehicle

Finally, there is a company that is making a police patrol car that isn't a standard civilian vehicle modified for police use. Fire vehicles have been custom built for years. Now a company is going to build one just for police use.

Carbon Motors is building a new facility in the Atlanta, GA area and will be starting production on a vehicle designed for police use, and is taking input from the police community.

Looks like something Robo Cop shoulds driven. I like it but I wouldn't try jumping curbs in it. Good theory but I don't see the budget people buying into it. The firefighters have NFPA standards to point at for precedent for builting custom trunks. Cops don't have that resource.
