Patrol Rifle

Hopefully before the end of Summer I'll schedule a 32 hour Patrol Rifle Operator class in the central Texas area. The class will be free, but you'll have to provide your ammo, safety gear, etc.

The class is 3 intense days with some homework, a lot of range time, and a lot of shooting, both with patrol rifles (magazine fed rifle with iron sights or occluded eye<optics> of 3x magnification or less-any action type) and service pistol. 32 hours of TCLEOSE credit will be awarded to those successfully completing the course.

You can send letters of interest on letterhead to:

Ken Yarbrough/Rangemaster

Bastrop PD

104 Grady Tuck Ln

Bastrop, TX 78602

I will forward equipment and course requirements to you upon receipt of request.

This is an excellent course for FI's to attend to take back to your Agency, together with information to assist in developing a patrol rifle program. I have taught it numerous times with a tremendous amount of positive feeback, and have mailed the course to agencies across the US and several overseas Countries. The course is provided free in an effort to promote the safety of Peace Officers in the discharge of their duties.

RE: Patrol Rifle

I look forward to hearing from you Steve. Anxious to run the course again, working out scheduling, etc. Let me know if I can assist prior and I'll get some material to you. Also trying to do a joint project (infancy stage) that will create a DVD with instructional techniques to supplement the course.

Stay safe,
Ken
