AMOK! Edged Weapons Combatives

I have now partaken in a total of 13 AMOK! Edged Weapons Solutions training sessions. 12 of them have been since my retirement in March 2005.

I can say unequivocally that the combatives and knife combatives training system of Tom Sotis is the absolute best I have ever had. While I have never been a lifelong martial arts enthusiast, I have since 1980 been avidly interested in reality-based combatives. There is a reason that the Guardian Angels in South Africa, who patrol unarmed in one of the most dangerous places on Earth, have adopted AMOK! as their self-defense system.

I think all LEOs could benefit greatly by the combatives, especially the edged weapons combatives, that AMOK! offers. A number of us LEOs in Northern Virginia already know this.
