A Professional Congratulations....

Dear Editor and staff...

I wanted to congratulate you on achieving the Best Public Safety Trade Magazine Award. I have come to enjoy the endless hours of reading that I can get online, but not just any type of reading...high quality reading it is. The POLICE magazine has a well-balanced staff of writers and contributors that offer a variety of experience and viewpoints for the reader to draw from. I have never been disappointed yet with what is offered. Thanks for the all the hard work in getting out a publication, and congratulations once again on your success!

R. Truesdell

Let me also add my congratulations to this. I chose to subscribe when Police was the only magazine I had found that was oriented towards police work. While I am now aware of many, some general law enforcement and some towards specific subset areas of law enforcement, I still find Police to be the best magazine in our profession. Congratulations on the recognition from the publishing industry of what we already knew.

I'll chime in with my congrats as well. It was 14 odd years ago one of my partners introduced me to Police Magazine. If only I had read this magazine earlier, when I was a green rookie, I wouldn't have had to learn so much through 'trial and error' (and yes, some of those trials were civil...<LOL>) and I probably wouldn't have as many scars. Ya'll do a great service, thank you.

Wolfva, as with most things in life, we have to learn them the hardest ways possible, getting someone else to learn from your mistakes is another thing altogether.
